Sorry for not updating for a while. Last weekend I went to Bournemouth to visit Grandma and Granddad (and Great Nan and Great Granddad). The weather was glorious! Maybe a bit too hot, but sunny and so bright. Me and Mummy took a train from Waterloo at 10am and arrived to Pokesdown at 12pm. Then we walked to Grandma's and Granddad's house, and met Granddad and Great Granddad. I sat to the sofa and smiled, and told stories while Mummy was unpacking. Then Mummy came down and was being funny so I laughed as well.
After my laughing session we left them to do their duties (Granddad playing with the computer and Great Granddad reading about tinker tailor soldiers) and walked to the Cat Shop, where Mummy used to volunteer when I was still flying with my Space Ship. The Cat Shop is ran by this wonderful older lady called Pauline. She's great and was very important person to Mummy when Daddy was away whilst working in London. The Cat Shop is a charity shop which pays all the costs of Valerie Baller's Cat Rescue. Valerie Baller is also an amazing lady. She rescues cats who've been abandoned by bad people. It's hard for me to understand who would anyone want to abandon their cat. Cats are lovely creatures, as are all the other animals on Planet Earth.
Mummy has taught me that only bad people won't love animals and treat them how they deserve to be treated - as a part of family. My Mummy is so wise! Luckily Daddy thinks this too. He always wants to pet all the animals he sees, and often Mummy needs to tell him off when he wants to go to pet a dog who is sitting outside of a shop waiting for their owner. You should never go pet a dog you don't know because they might think that you are a bad person, and they want to punish you for being horrible. Like cats, dogs aren't able to read minds and sometimes they are wrong when they want to bite you. They are not as wise as cats, even though they are very lovely creatures.
Anyway, back to track! We were chatting with Pauline and entertaining the customers for 2 hours. Then Mummy bought a big bag of goodies (clothes, toys for me etc) and we said goodbye and walked back home. I was very tired and was tripping of. Entertaining people is very tiring sometimes. We got back home and straight away went to do some shopping with Granddad. After getting back again, me and Mummy took a nice nap together and when we woke up, Grandma was back from work, so I got some nice cuddles and play time. Great Nan had came to see me as well and was looking very happy and well.
Daddy came late in the evening and I was delighted to see him. I don't like when he's away for too long, and I did cry for him for at least two hours before he arrived. I love my Daddy so much. He is my favourite person in the world. (Along with Mummy of course <3)
The next day called Saturday we had a little barbeque. I also went for a walk with everyone else while Mummy and Daddy were making a cake. When I got back Daddy had managed to break the food processor. He does it every time he uses it. Then Mummy had to stuck the cake base to the bin, and make a new one. Luckily the processor hadn't broke that badly and was still working. Grandma was angry, but luckily not long. Then I played with her and she forgot the whole processor. I'm very talented in swiping the memory of bad thoughts and replacing them with happy thoughts filled with me.
Later in the evening Mummy and Daddy went out with Daddy's friend Ollie and Meeksie. I went to the bed earlier than normally because if I don't get enough sleep I will turn really grumpy. And I mean, extremely grumpy! Mummy's only now discovered that fact, even though I've been shouting to her many evenings before that 'PUT ME TO SLEEP!! RIGHT NOW!!' - again, she hasn't listened to me, and she always used to talk about teething and all kinds of other stuff, silly Mummy. Well, it's good now and I've taught her that my bedtime needs to be latest at 9pm. It also gives Daddy a bit extra time to learn Finnish language without disturbance. Even though, I don't know if football/rugby pages, everything to do with Apple, and news have anything to do with learning the language? I might be wrong..
On Sunday we walked to the beach and Daddy was doing a document about me. I got a bit shy, so I was pretending to be a sleep the whole time. Don't know what the others were thinking, but no one didn't seem that excited to be in the document either. Well, anyway, I'm looking forward it coming to the Cinema. Surely it will be very entertaining. We also had a nice brunch and I was making sure that everyone finished their food which my Granddad so kindly made for us. Then it was time for the last cuddles with my Grandma, Great Nan, and Great Granddad and off we went with the car. Granddad took us all the way home, tried to fix Daddy's computer, crawled with me in my Baby Gym and gave me kisses, and left back home to enjoy the rest of the sunny day.
The weekend was very lovely and I am looking forward to spending more time with Grandma and Granddad on Christmas. I've heard lots about Christmas and this year is my very first one. Ok, I tell you all about Christmas another day, now I'm off to have a little nap that Mummy can buy me presents from the place called Ebay.
See you next time.
(sorry for the lack of pictures, my Grandma's stolen the most of them with her camera. Silly Grandma..)
