It all started when we took the train to the place where all the planes leave. It's called Gatwick Airport. I was resting my eyes and my Mummy and Daddy were eating ice cream and talking. It took us 40 minutes to get to the airport, and after we got the tickets sorted we went through a special security just for families and people who are not able to walk. My Mummy said that it was lots nicer getting in the airport with me, and quicker as well. I'm a magician.
While waiting the plane to leave I wanted to try different kind of rocking chairs and Mummy was taking pictures of me. She asked me to look shocked, so I did. For a reward I asked them if they are going to buy me one of the chairs, and they promised to buy me this specific one which I can use up to when I'm 18 kilos, which is soon because I like milk so much. It's the one in the pictures which looks like a rocking chair, and it's very colourful and nice.
After my rocking session Mummy bought them coffees and we walked to the gates. I was looking at people and many of them were smiling me and pointing me at their fingers. I like being a celebrity on Planet Earth. I looked at people my eyes wide open and amused them. Then it was time to meditate again while we got to the Plane.
All of the sudden I woke up from my deep thinking session and noticed that the air felt different. I got a bit scared, but before telling that to Mummy she understood that milk would make me feel more comfortable, so she gave me some and I felt relaxed and peaceful again. I fell a sleep and was dreaming of colourful milk fountains and my Daddy's face when he kisses me and makes funny noises, it made me giggle. Also I saw my Space Ship in the dream, but now it felt like I didn't want to fly with it that much any more. Am I starting to forget my beloved Space Ship? Have you seen it anywhere by the way?
I woke up when we were at my Mummi's and Pappa's house. Mummy and Daddy said that i was a brilliant traveller. I don't really understand what they ment because it took us less than a minute to get there? These Planes made by humans are really fast! Anyway, I got lots of cuddles and met my Uncle Jukka who was sleeping. Mummy sat me on the bed next to him and he woke up and laughed at me. He said I'm nice. Then we let him go back to sleep and went to pet the cat. His name is Tate and he's almost 20 years old. I petted him with my hand and he purred and rubbed his head against my hand. We are friends now. After that it was time to go to bed. I got to sleep in a 200 year old cot which had been made my great mummu's great great uncle. Or something like that. It was made of wood and it rocked from side to side, and was very comfy.
On thursday we went to meet Mummy's friend Marika and her daughter Irina. They are both very lovely and I was happy to meet them for the first time. I think Mummy was as well because she started to cry when she saw them. We met at Marika's Mum's nest and there was Marika's Mum Eeva and sisters Taru and Riina, and then Irina of course (and her dad Henkka came to say hello later on that evening). Mummy always talks how much she loves them and calls them her other family. It's quite sweet. I love them as well now.
On friday we went to Porvoo where my mummi's family live. I met my great ukki there, and he's funny as anything! He always plays harmonica and goes to Bingo. I also met my great uncle called Eno, who is a professional fisher man, and his wife Rea. Rea was carrying me around while Mummy, Daddy, Mummi and Pappa had some coffee and 'pannukakku'. It's a finnish dessert which you make from sugar, flour and milk and bake in the oven - very similar with Yorkshire's pudding, but sweeter. After that Mummy picked up 4 kilos of red currants from Eno's back yard. After spending a bit of time with them we went to a flea market and then drove home.
Then we went to visit Marika's and Irina's nest, and had a little time on the swings before that. Irina likes swings, and she has told me that in finnish they are called "kiikkama". Irina is good at speaking finnish and she must be a comedian, because everyone always laughs when she says something. After meeting them again, we went back to Mummi's and Pappa's house and had milk and then drove to place called Kustavi, 200 kilometres away from Helsinki (Capital city of Planet Finland). There is my great great Aunt Leena's beautiful summer cottage. It was the first time when we'd been there with my Mummy and Daddy. There was lots of forest around, a sea few metres away from the cottage and a separate sauna cottage, where we got to sleep. Mummi and Pappa slept in the main cottage with Leena and her three cats called Misu, Minja and Siiri.
I've learned that cats are fascinating creatures! Misu-cat can blow bubbles from her mouth when she's happy. She also drools then. Minja-cat is fast as anything, and if you'd touch her too much she showed you how quick she is. Siiri-cat was 19 years old and very good at sleeping. I've found out that every cat have their own super power. Maybe I need to hang around with them a bit more - I might learn good tricks from them as they say that 'Cats rule the World'. My mum says that it's true.
Next day Leena made everyone delicious breakfast, and as always I just had milk. I'm a bit picky. Then I had a little nap and Mummy and Daddy went to play darts outside, and fishing after. Mummy told that Daddy is rubbish at rowing, and they didn't catch any fish for us either. When I'm old enough, me and Mummy will go fishing together and I show Daddy how to row a boat. The day was nice and very warm, and we were all very relaxed. In the evening Mummy and Daddy went to sauna. It's a hot room which has been invented by people of Planet Finland. I've heard that it's nice and refreshing, but I haven't tried it myself yet. I don't really like when it's too hot. Maybe in few years I try and I get to sit in a bucket. (Mummy told that when they were little they got to sit in a bucket where was warm water)
On sunday we watched tv with Mummy and Daddy and had a nap with the bubble blowing cat. I think she is from Planet England, because i've heard that there is a song where they sing "Forever blowing bubbles.. pretty bubbles in the air.." Misu-cat might have written that song. I told you cats are fascinating! In afternoon I was relaxing in my pushable car and Daddy went to catch some potatoes with a metal piece. Potatoes live under the soil and he had to dug them up. He caught many of them and was very proud. That's why we took pictures. After that we went to pick blueberries. The forest is full of them. (as well as full of lingonberries and mushrooms)
Me and Daddy watched a bit more of tv while Mummy was making blueberry pie and different kind of buns. She made 'korvapuusti's and 'voisilmapulla's. In korvapuusti's there is lots of cinnamon and sugar inside, and in voisilmapulla they put butter and sugar in the hole on top of the bun. I've heard that they are delicious. Mummy will teach me how to bake them when i'm older. She's promised to teach me to cook as well. She thinks that it's very important for me to know how to cook. Daddy doesn't know how to cook, but granddad does. I will cook with him as well in the future.
We left about 7 pm back to Helsinki, and i was looking out of the window almost the whole time. The trees were running away so quickly that I was totally shocked. I've never seen trees running before. And they were fast, I tell you!! Daddy took pictures of me watching the trees. Somehow they found my expressions really amusing. Well, they are so old that they are used to see running trees. This is all new to me.
The rest of the week Mummy was ill and we didn't do that much. Mummy's friend Bettina came over with my friend Nella, and we were lying on a fleece blanket. Nella talked too much so I fell asleep almost straight away. Women.. Then they left and we went to see my great mummu and Mummy's cats who are now my great mummu's. Komo-cat was angry with me, but Kitja-cat sniffed my head and was very friendly. Komo is quite territorial, but I understand him. We've never met before, and of course he thinks me as a threat when I'm in his house - after all i'm two times smaller than he is. I wouldn't want to wrestle with him. Maybe when i've grown a bit more he respects me. He's a bit of a bully, but it's ok. I still like him.
My great mummu loved me and she had bought me very nice clothes. I'm wearing one of them now. It's a one piece which has pictures of owls and it's white. I look very handsome in it. It's from my favourite brand 'Tutta'. They make the nicest clothes I've seen yet. I have many of them now and I will give you pictures of me wearing them later.
We went to do some shopping, saw Henry (one of Mummy's best friends) who is an actor called Kevin Bacon. He is also a masseur, and he does breakdancing as well. He will teach me some moves when I can stand on my own feet. He tried to eat my legs while i was sleeping, but it's ok. He needs proteins because he does lots of exercise, just like Daddy. I hope he will teach Daddy how to spin with his head. It would be funny.
We also went to look at some shops in Malmi with Marika, Irina and Henkka and had a really nice time, before Mummy had to rush to the dentist which she almost forgot. Mummy's head is made of wood. Then on thursday we all gathered around in Eeva's and Taru's nest and I was crying a lot because I was so sad to leave. Irina was dancing and dropping things. She's also brilliant with making the Earth People do things for her. She is so beautiful that everyone 'eats from her hand'. Well played Irina, well played! She has also taught my Daddy a new word 'Tuttima'. It means a dummy in finnish.
On friday then we rested the morning, then Mummy and Daddy went to buy something to bring back to Planet England while I was playing with my Auntie Julia. When they got back we rushed to get my buggies from my Pappa's car. He had stolen the car where my buggies were because he didn't want me to leave. After we wished him happy birthday and drove to get the buggies, he gave me a permission to leave with Mummy and Daddy and leaded us to the airport police office to get my new passport, and then we said goodbyes to Mummi and Pappa, and flew back to Planet England. It was as quick as when we went to Finland, and I was surprised when the man sitting next to us on the plane said that I'm a good traveller. 'Heard that before' I replied and Daddy chatted with him a bit.
When we got to the passport control it was full of people, and the queus were very long. Then the workers spotted me and they asked us to join a special que for celebrities, so we went. I was so excited I made a big poo. Mummy and Daddy were happy about that and they changed my nappy in the toilet and washed me. I was giggling. Then we headed to the trains and back home where our rabbits were waiting for us.
Had a lovely time and will go back soon. Hope you've had a lovely time as well reading about my adventures from Planet Finland.
